About CyclePerk

CyclePerk is a UK cycle to work scheme being built for small employers and single-director limited companies. It is in development and is not yet accepting applications.

What CyclePerk is

A cycle to work scheme is a salary sacrifice arrangement. The employer buys a bike and hires it to an employee, the employee pays for it out of gross salary, and both sides save tax. CyclePerk is being built to run that arrangement for the employers the existing providers do not call: companies with fewer than about twenty staff, and the roughly two million UK limited companies with a single director.

What is published here now

The site is research rather than a product. Three things are published and maintained:

How the figures here are sourced

Every number on this site carries the date it was checked and the source it came from. That is a deliberate editorial rule, and it is the main reason this site exists at all.

What is different about it

Most of this market does not publish its prices. Employer pricing and retailer commission are quoted privately, which is a commercial choice providers are entitled to make and which leaves buyers unable to compare. CyclePerk publishes what it finds, and intends to publish its own pricing on the same terms when it opens.

The second difference is who it is for. Providers chase large employers because one sale wins thousands of staff, so a ten-person company is not worth a sales call. That is a gap in their economics rather than a gap in the rules, and it is the gap this is built for.

Contact

Email hello@cycleperk.co.uk. That address reaches the person who maintains the site, and there is no sales team behind it.

There is no phone number and no office address to publish, because CyclePerk is not yet trading. Both will be published here when it is.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies, uses no advertising or tracking scripts, and stores nothing in your browser. There is no sign-up, no form and no account, so there is nothing for it to collect. The savings calculator does its arithmetic in your browser: the price you type is never sent anywhere.

If you email hello@cycleperk.co.uk, that message is read by the person who maintains the site and is not added to a mailing list, sold or passed on. Ask for it to be deleted and it will be.

If measurement is added later it will be a cookieless, aggregate one, and this section will say so before it goes live rather than after.

Regulatory position and disclosure

CyclePerk is not currently authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not currently operate a scheme. Above £1,000, a cycle to work arrangement is a regulated consumer hire agreement, so authorisation or appointed representative status is required before CyclePerk can accept applications. Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice.

CyclePerk is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any of the providers compared on this site. Provider names are used for identification only.
